These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Dependency Credit Tracker (the "App"), published by True North Originals, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the App Store's terms.
2. Not tax, legal, or financial advice
The App is an organizational tool for tracking dependent-care expenses. It does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice, and any figures, limits, or eligibility rules it references are general information that may change and may not apply to your situation. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for your tax filings. Always confirm with the IRS or a qualified tax professional before relying on any amount.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the data you enter and for keeping your own backups where needed. Because your records are stored only on your device, deleting the App or losing the device will remove your data. Use the App only for lawful purposes.
4. Subscriptions and billing
The App may offer optional purchases or auto-renewable subscriptions billed through your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple.
5. Intellectual property
The App, its design, and its content (excluding the data you enter) are owned by True North Originals, LLC and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App except as permitted by law.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that any calculation, figure, or reference is accurate or current.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, True North Originals, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any tax outcome, penalty, or loss arising from your use of the App. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
