Dependency Credit Tracker helps families organize dependent-care expenses throughout the year so they're ready at tax time for the Child and Dependent Care Credit and related accounts. We built it to be private by design.

This policy is published by True North Originals, LLC ("True North Originals," "we," "us," or "our"), the maker of Dependency Credit Tracker.
1. What we do not collect
Dependency Credit Tracker has no accounts and asks for no personal information. We do not require a name, email address, phone number, or login. We do not use advertising identifiers, location, contacts, or any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not build profiles, and we never sell data.
2. Your data stays on your device
The expenses, dependents, care providers, amounts, dates, and notes you enter are stored only on your device using your device's standard on-device storage. We operate no servers that receive your financial information, and we keep no copy of your records. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it.
3. Subscriptions and payments
If the app offers an optional purchase or subscription, all payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment card details. Apple tells the app only whether an active purchase exists so it can unlock features; this check happens on-device through Apple's StoreKit. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Not tax or financial advice
Dependency Credit Tracker is an organizational tool. It does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice, and the figures and rules it references are for general informational purposes only and may change. Always confirm your eligibility and amounts with the IRS or a qualified tax professional.
5. Security
Because your records live only on your device, the most important safeguard is the security of the device itself — keep it protected with a passcode and keep your operating system up to date.
6. Your choices and data deletion
You are always in control. To remove all of your data, delete the app from your device, or delete individual entries within the app. You can manage or cancel any subscription in your Apple ID settings. For any privacy question, email info@truenorthoriginals.com.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. If we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
